June 28, 2013

After a busy couple of weeks going to events at Bristol Big Green Week and helping hubby Alan with his Pulse of the City  – here’s his blog for the project – – things have gone quiet again.  Just as well really because I’m on the last chapter of the second novel ‘House of Lilith’ and want to finish it before the end of June.  I decided after finishing ‘Shades’ that I would work on the second book and put them both up on Amazon as e-publications together.  The novels are closely linked so it seemed a sensible thing to do.  The buzz seems good from the people who have read it so far, so I hope they will be well received.  Books three to six will be along in due course, and there could be another two after that, but I also have other projects on the go and new ideas bothering me all the time,  there just aren’t enough hours in a day to do everything, even if the Muse was co-operating.

I’ve been writing short stories for the Story Fridays at A Word in Your Ear, Burdall’s Yard in Bath.  One of them, Black Sheep was picked for the May performance.  If you’re curious you can listen again by following this link –  I’m writing under my married surname of Senior, in case you’re wondering.

On top of this I have also begun a long term photoproject, visiting the most accessible megalithic sites in the UK, with the eventual plan to publish a guide to them.  They are our heritage after all, but so few of them have signs pointing the visitor to them.  There’s more than Stonehenge out there folks!

Here’s the cover for House of Lilith, so keep an eye open on Amazon in the next month or so.  Back again soon.
